Pastor Carl A. Turner Sr. was born and raised in Pittsburg, PA. under the leadership of the late, Bishop F.M. Thomas. He was reared by his parents, the late District Elder John Loyd and Evangelist Betty Loyd of Bridgeport, CT. Through God's guidance along with his parents, he was taught to love the Lord and to keep His commandments as a young age.

Pastor Turner has been the Pastor of Highway Gospel Community Temple in West Chester, PA. since 1988 and Highway Word of Faith Ministries in Newark, DE. since 1999, totaling 31 years in Pastoring. He has been in Kingdom Building business most of his life. He also has traveled extensively throughout the United States, India, Jamaica, London, England, the Bahamas, Bermuda, numerous trips to the continent of Africa the Congo, Kenya, Capetown and Johannesburg, South Africa and surrounding cities, Seoul, Korea and Tokyo, Japan.

He currently holds or has held the following prestigious positions:

     Former Diocesan Bishop of the 47th Episcopal District of Kenya of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, Inc. (PAW)

     Former General Treasurer of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, Inc. (16 years)

     Former Chairman of the Greater PA. State Council under the leadership of bishop Ronald L. Young

     Former General Treasurer of the Greater PA. State Council under the leadership of Bishop Ronald L. Young.

     Presently General Treasurer of the Pennsylvania Alliance of Apostolic Churches (PAAC)

     Presently the Convention manager for the P.A.W. and chief of protocol under Bishop Theodore L. Brooks, Presiding      Prelate.

     Presently member of the Executive Board of the P.A. of W., Inc.

     Presently the Diocesan Bishop of the 2nd Episcopal District of Pennsylvania of the P.A.W., Inc.

He held the position as owner and CEO of Turner's Insurance group for thirty-one years and is presently a successful business partner with Morinda International. (formerly TN)

Pastor Turner has been married to Karen Boyer Turner for 45 years. In September of 2013, his wife then of 40 years was a perfect match for a kidney transplant. The Lord blessed this union with a "special gift" from a "special lady" to a "special man". Out of their union they also share three children of which one son and one grandson has preceded them in death. Nine grandchildren and five great-granddaughters of which he is proud of them all.

He currently holds a Bachelors of Arts degree in Pastoral Ministries through Aenon Bible College (of the P.A.W.). He is the author of two books, "don't Let Me Die" and "it's In the Pot". He also has a large library of sermons that give hope and encouragement to a dying world.

To sum it all up, Pastor turner is a man on the move for God!!!
